القضاء الاتحادي: يعمل النظام القضائي في الدولة بشكل ثنائي يشمل القضاء الاتحادي تحت رئاسة المحكمة العليا التي تعتبر أعلى سلطة قضائية في الدولة، والقضاء المحلي على مستوى الحكومات المحلية للأعضاء في الاتحاد، ويتمتع القضاء الاتحادي بالاستقلالية التامة؛ حيث إنه يُسمح لأي جهة بالتدخل في شؤونه، ويتجلى مبدأ عمل القضاء الاتحادي في تساوي الجميع أمام القانون وضمان حق الجميع من مواطنين ووافدين في الحصول على محاكمة عادلة، وتشرف وزارة العدل على المحاكم وعلى دوائر النيابة العامة في الدولة، كما أنها تتولى مهمة تعيين القضاة والمحامين والخبراء وغيرهم، بالإضافة إلى أنها تقترح إجراء التعديلات على النظام الداخلي للقضاء المدني والجزائي.[٩]
